Sheetal Chaudhari

Stalin calls her the workhouse of the organization. She is completely dedicated to the cause of saving mangroves from the clutches of evil capitalistic factory owners in and around the Thane Creek. If not among the mangroves, she is busy peering into the microscope, studying the micro flora and fauna or has her head embedded into her books. She gives more than her 100% to the work at hand and while she is at it, she has a DND aura around her, so you disturb her at your peril! Don’t be mistaken she is also a fun person to know and very comfortable to interact with. Know more about her adventures at sheetal@cat.org.in

Mr Debi Goenka

Mr Debi Goenka (aka God) is the charging ibex of the conservation world. He can lock antlers with anyone over anything and, in pursuit of his monomaniacal desire to see a greener world, does so at the slightest opportunity. He has worked with people you wouldn't believe, including the Government and Nudrat. His passion is protecting the city's mangroves. He has variously been accused of being a CIA spy, a builder's lackey and a greater menace than Dennis. In truth, he is an environmental evangelist with plans to start his own TV channel. His toll-free number is 1-800-I-AM-A-CAT. Since he loves big cats, it is only fitting that he drives a Jaguar. "Better than an Impala," he says. "Plus it has eight cylinders." Six, actually, but who's counting?

Debi has now discovered that there is a Leopard that he can drive.

He thinks it is a perfect low cost vehicle for Mumbai's roads.

Here is a picture of his test drive in Germany when he bought his at a surplus sale".
